How To Display the “Advanced Search” on Magento 2 Store?

In this article, we will guide you on how the MageAnts Magento 2 Advanced Search extension works.
Follow the below steps to enable advanced search functionality for customers:
Step-1: Extension Configuration:
After Installation of the Extension, go to Store→Configuration→Mageants →AdvancedSearch.
In this step, you may see different Configurations where Advanced search can be enabled. Let's look at the AutoComplete configurations.
Enable/Disable Module.
Set a delay period (in milliseconds) to search start showing.
Set Auto complete Popup Width. - Choose Field To show Suggestion Or Product Block.
Specify The Minimum Number Of Characters to Trigger Product search Process.
Choose ‘Default’ to the original size of the search field during the searching process, or enable dynamic search field width(it will be based on a popup width).
Step-2: Product Configuration :
Set ‘yes’ to on click of product image or name redirect to product page.
Customize the Title for the product block and Category block.
Specify The Maximum Number Of Displayed Product Result.
Set The Number Of Characters for a Product description to be shown in popup.
Step-3: BestSeller Configuration :
Set To ‘Yes’ to enable search in Bestseller product and display search in the auto-compete popup.
Customize the Title for the Best Seller block.
Specify The Maximum Number Of Displayed Bestseller Product Result.
Step-4: Suggestion Configuration :
Customize the Title for the Suggestion block.
Specify The Maximum Number Of Displayed Suggestion Results.
Step-5: Recent Search Configuration :
Set To ‘Yes’ to enable in Recent Search value and display Recent Search Block in the auto compete popup.
Set ‘Yes’ to enable showing the Recent search value at the first user’s click in a search bar.
Customize the Title for the Recent Search block.
Specify The Maximum Number Of Display Recent Search Value
Step-6: Custom Layout Configuration :
Set To ‘Yes’ to Enable This Option To Customize popup Design.
Set a Customize Border Color, Customize Hover Color Of Product List, Customize Background Color, Customize Text Color, Customize Hover Color Of Text.
Once you have completed the setup, make sure to save the configuration and test it. You should able to show configured functionality in frontend on searchbar.
Step-7: Front-end Example:
Now, perform various search queries on the frontend to ensure the search results are accurate and relevant.
