Documentation for Testimonial

• Testimonial from your customers can boost your store credibility as most of the customers prefer to read review before they buy from any stores.

• With our extension, you can display testimonials listing all around a store.
  

• Admin can enable/disable submitted testimonials.
  

• Customer submit testimonial then admin email notify and admin can enable/disable testimonial then customer email notify.

• Admin can add testimonial widget in any page or block.

There are two ways of installing extension in magento2.

1. Using COMMAND LINE.
   
2. Manually Install extension.
   

Option 1: Magento 2 install extension using COMMAND LINE (Recommended)

Follow below steps to install extension from the command line.

Step 1: Download the extension and unzip it.

Step 2: Upload it to code directory in your magento installation’s app directory. If code directory does not exists then create.

Step 3: Disable the cache under System → Cache Management.

Step 4: Enter the following at the command line:

           Php bin/magento setup:upgrade
           Php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy

Step 5: Once you complete above steps log out and log in back to the admin panel and switch to Stores → Configuration → Mageants → Testimonial, the module will be displayed in the admin panel.

Option 2: Magento 2 install extension manually

Step 1: Download the extension and unzip it.

Step 2: Upload it to code directory in your magento installation’s app directory If code directory does not exists then create.

Step 3: Disable the cache under System → Cache Management Edit app/etc/config.php file and add one line code: ‘Mageants_Testimonial’ ⇒ 1

Step 4: Disable the cache under System → Cache Management

Step 5: Once you complete above steps log out and log in back to the admin panel and switch to Stores → Configuration → Mageants → Testimonial, the module will be displayed in the admin panel.

After Installation of Extension log in to magento admin panel for set configuration of the extension.

Stores → Configuration → Mageants → Testimonial configuration :

• Notify admin after add testimonial configuration: If Notify admin after add testimonial configuration is enable and user add new testimonial then selected email template send to admin.
  

• Notify customer when approve or reject testimonial: If Notify customer when approve or reject testimonial configuration is enable and admin approve or reject testimonial then selected email template send to customer.
  

Below, Show Custom Menu Mageants to Show Tab Manage Testimonial And Configuration

here, Manage Testimonial tab to show admin grid.

• Add new testimonial button to admin can add their testimonial.
  

Here,show admin testimonial form to add new testimonial.

here, show all testimonial list in grid. When user or customer create testimonial then their status disable. if admin can enable then show testimonial in frontend and send email to notify customer or admin disable then email to notify customer

Create widget to show testimonial view page.

• select product testimonial option.

here, set widget storefront property.

• Select layout to testimonial page show in selected layout page and block

Add new testimonial and admin email configuration is enable then send Email to Admin.here show admin email notify mail.
